My Experience Is Proven By My Career

For over 30 years, I have been resolving significant California cases from both sides of the courtroom. My practice now focuses on catastrophic injuries, from fatal car accidents to earthquakes and floods. I was the Defense Counsel for the Aguayo v. PG&E case, which is the basis for the "Erin Brockavich" movie. Due to my experience in large cases, I am a top level negotiator with excellent courtroom skills and a deep understanding of the areas in which I practice.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, surfing and skiing around the world. I live with my two daughters and my wife, who is head of a private foundation committed to saving the oceans. My role models are ordinary people working through obstacles to achieve their goals.

Value Of Hiring A Former Insurance Lawyer

Before representing victims of personal injury accidents, I worked as an attorney for insurance companies. This unique perspective provides great value to my present clients in a few ways.

Insurance companies search for and hire only the best attorneys they can find. A history representing them speaks to a lawyer's exceptional litigation skills. I also gained a thorough understanding of how insurance companies operate and the defenses they use in these types of cases. My position pushed me to excel in many different subjects and that experience carries over to my current practice.
